Born in the Jungle, Built for the Ocean
EBSUP is the electric arm of Adventure Burica – an off-grid project on the Burica Peninsula in Costa Rica. The same solar system that runs the jungle retreat is now charging a fleet of electric balsa boards.
The Vision
The goal is simple: more waves, less noise. We’re combining classic surf culture, sustainable materials, and modern electric drive systems to create boards that belong in remote lineups, not marinas.
EBSUP boards are designed for surfers, spearfishers, explorers, and anyone who lives too far from the harbor but too close to good waves to ignore them.
Built Where We Ride
Prototypes are tested in real conditions around Pavones and the Burica coast: long paddles, river mouths, heavy rain, and hot sun. If it survives here, it’ll survive your local break.
Adventure Burica
Adventure Burica is a developing off-grid resort and surf base on a wild stretch of coast. Solar, Starlink, jungle, and long lefts. EBSUP is one of the tools we’re building to make that lifestyle more reachable.
